Handbags are like organs to a woman. They are the containers which are most widely used as the benefits of it are many because the requirements of a woman are undeniably many. Handbags are the storehouses of cosmetics, lunch boxes, phones, earphones and all the necessary things needed to be carried with ourselves.
This is the reason why women have a fascination for handbags. No one likes to carry dull and tattered handbags but the ones which are classy. There are many well-known companies which produce handbags catering to the taste and needs of women. Apart from all the pros of a handbag, the cons are that handbags are easily subjected to pickpockets. The chain located at the back is the easiest place to be stolen money from. Protection of handbags is hence necessary.
Other problems include corrosion of the leather or any other material that the bag is made of. Putting it to daily use could result in an accumulation of dirt on the handbags, can ruin the designs and damage it as well. Handbags should be properly taken care off so that it ensures longevity.
There are certain TIPS to be employed when it comes to take care of a handbag. When talking of how to take care of handbags, what comes to the mind first is to wash. However, that is a mainstream idea which cannot be negated or excluded but other methods should also be checked out.
Might seem a bit eldritch to some but is one of the finest hacks to be tried to remove dirt from a handbag. Baby wipes should only be used on leather bags to remove dirt. This would help to bring back the shine and keep it supple.
Purses always come in dust bags. Most of us have the habit of discarding the dust bags which so wrong. The dust bags are provided for a purpose. They serve to protect our bags from pollution. It is, hence, recommended to restore the handbags in the dust bags after every use.
It is a wrong practice to keep bags on the floor. Needless to say that, floors are never clean no matter how much it is mopped with expensive or high rated floor cleaners. Germs continue to lurk anyway. A solution to this is to hang the handbag from a hook or from the handles of the chair.
Over-cleaning the handbag can cause the leather or shrink which can damage the look of the handbag. Not to use detergent because it is to our knowledge that detergents consist of chemicals which make the colour of your handbag fade away.
Materials like Plastics and vinyl are resistant to moisture. This is one of the reasons why storing vegetables in plastic bags is not at all recommended. They trap wetness and hence can cause damage to the material of the handbag. It is more harmful to leather bags.
Above mentioned are the certain tips which should be considered apart from washing. The tips could be applied for designer bags as well. Women carrying branded handbags should definitely carry the tips out as branded handbags are expensive and hence longevity is nothing wrong to demand. The tips mentioned are the few unusual yet easy tips to be applied to handbags.
Not everyone knows the proper usage or how to care for handbags. It is a general tendency to blame the company or the shop if the handbag does not last long. However, the onus should be on us to understand that in the urban areas, where pollution is at its peak, it is not just our skin or hair get damaged but our possessions are damaged as well.
