Who does not know about king recipe, you can find this creamy dish in every marriage, restaurant menu. If it is not there, its feel like some rich treat is missing in Indian Cuisine. This recipe is my personal favorite. I welcome every guest with this dish. The best part of this recipe is it does not requires onion and garlic. So, everyone can relish the dish without thinking too much about their reservation for certain ingredients. Requires onion and garlic still it beats the restaurant.

Lets began the Shahi Paneer Recipe
Prep Time: 21-25 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes
Paneer (Cottage cheese) 250 grams
Tomatoes 3 medium
Cashewnuts 1/4 cup
Melon seeds (magaz) 2 tablespoons
Poppy seeds (khuskhus/posto) 1 teaspoon
Ginger chopped 1 teaspoon
Green cardamoms 2
Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Oil 1 tablespoon
Yogurt 1/4 cup
Green cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon
Fresh cream 2 tablespoons
Garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon
Heat a pressure cooker. Roughly chop tomatoes and put into the cooker along with cashew nuts, melon seeds, poppy seeds, ginger, green cardamoms, red chili powder, salt, and 1 tsp. oil and mix well.
Add yogurt and mix well. Add 1 cup water and close the cooker with the lid. Cook under pressure till 4 whistles.
Let the mixture cool down and then transfer it into Maharaja Whiteline Powerclick+ Mixer Grinder, make the paste in just one click.
Strain the mixture and pour into another non-stick pan and heat. Add a little cream and garam masala powder and mix.
Slice Paneer in the triangle or square shape. Add paneer in gravy, drizzle a little cream.
Add roasted and crushed Kasoori methi in Shahi Paneer dish. It is optional as it adds aroma and enhances the taste of the dish.
