Chocolate Lollipop
CHOCOLATES are everyone favourite treat – what kid and what adult. No one can say no to chocolate. My daughter has lot of holidays now and we are planning for children party at home. So we are preparing for it. What can be better than Chocolate delight as welcome starter treat. Recipe is so simple that even a kid can make. My daughter helped me to make her first recipe of party. “We had shared our tasks where cooking part was done by me & rest can be done by any kidos”. WE enjoyed making it and my daughter wants more to try out. So we come up with three lollipop recipes
Strawberry Chocolate Lolipop
Ingredients
- 6-7 fresh strawberry
2 cups dark chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (12 ounces) - 1/2 cup chopped white chocolate (3 ounces), for drizzling (optional)
sprinkler (0ptional)
Method
Wash and dry the strawberries. Rinse the strawberries and gently dry. The strawberries need to be completely dry before dipping
Melt the dark chocolate and white chocolate
Fill 2 medium saucepans with a couple inches of water and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Transfer all the chocolate into the top of the double-boiler and set this over the simmering water. Let the chocolate melt, stirring occasionally, until no more lumps remain. Remove the bowl with the chocolate from heat.
Microwave – This can be done through microwave as well
Melt the chocolates in a microwave at half power, for 1 minute, stir and then heat for another minute or until melted
Dip the strawberries. I prick the toothpick into the strawberry so it become easy to dip the strawberry into chocolate.
Turn or swirl the strawberry as needed to completely coat it in chocolate. Lift the strawberry out and shake gently to remove any excess chocolate. lay the dipped strawberry on its side on the try. Repeat with dipping the remaining strawberries.
Prepare the white chocolate drizzle.
Transfer the melted white chocolate to a small piping bag.Squeezing the bag gently and quickly drizzle the white chocolate over the strawberries and you can add sprinkles .Decorate it with sprinklers- kids are always fascinated with colours . you can also dip the strawberry into white chocolate and sprinkle some sprinklers on wet chocolate coated strawberry so it is set after chocolate is set and dried.
